This is an excellent offshore sailing week for those who have sailed before and want to undertake extended offshore passages by day and night. You will undertake challenging sails in excess of 60 miles (usually to Holland and/or Belgium subject to weather) and learn about watch keeping, offshore navigation, pilotage by day and night, preparation for heavy weather, safety and emergency situations. Expect to log over 200 miles.

The course fee includes all meals underway (not including meals when ashore) for the duration of your course, tuition, wet weather and safety gear.

During your time aboard, you will be living in one of the most spacious and luxurious sea school yachts in the region. You will receive expert tuition from one of our experienced qualified RYA Instructors who is there not only to teach you but to ensure you have a most enjoyable time. Each night we will stay at a different location either in a marina, at anchor or mooring to a buoy. Domestic duties are shared by all on board and at the end of each course we ask you to help clean the yacht ready for the next crew.

If you are considering taking a Yachtmaster certificate of competence or you would like to experience sailing offshore then this is an ideal course.

Please note this is not an RYA training course.
