Unless you practice regularly it is all too easy to forget the tidal navigation that you learned during your RYA Day Skipper or RYA Coastal/Yachtmaster shorebased courses.

This one day shorebased brush-up course revises tidal navigation in detail. We revisit:

Tidal Streams - Computation of rates, estimated Position & Course-to-Steer using both tidal stream atlas and tidal diamond methods.

Tidal Heights - Secondary port calculations & tidal curves; calculating depths in which to anchor; clearances over sand banks and marina sills and vertical bridge clearances.

If your tidal navigation is a bit rusty or you are contemplating taking an RYA course that requires tidal navigation knowledge then this must-do brush-up course will help you prepare.
