This 2 day course targeted at those who want to learn to sail before going on a Flotilla Holiday. It has been designed by Anglia Sea Ventures in consultation with flotilla holiday companies to ensue that you are suitably prepared and therefore able to get the most out of your holiday.

By the end of your course you will have practiced berthing, mooring and anchoring a yacht , steering, sail handling and reefing, ropework, man-over-board recovery, safety on board, chart work, planning and skippering a short passage by day plus emergency operation of a marine VHF radio.

The course fee includes full board for the duration of your course, tuition, wet weather and safety gear so there is nothing else to pay whilst on board.

During your time aboard, you will be living in one of the most spacious and luxurious sea school yachts in the region. You will receive expert tuition from one of our experienced qualified RYA Instructors who is there not only to teach you but to ensure you have a most enjoyable time. Each night we will stay at a different location either in a marina, at anchor or mooring to a buoy. Domestic duties are shared by all on board and at the end of each course we ask you to help clean the yacht ready for the next crew.

Note this is not an RYA recognised course.
