In a medical emergency a little first aid knowledge and immediate action can save lives, especially in remote locations.

This one-day course is designed to provide a working knowledge of first aid for people using small craft and to support skippers. It fulfils the requirements for professional skippers of small craft working within 60 miles of a safe haven. The course is MCA and HSE approved, and satisfies the requirements of some categories of commercial work afloat, including Boatmasters.

At the end of this course you will have a good knowledge of basic first aid in a marine environment.

If you have successfully completed the course you will receive a completion certificate. If you have enjoyed your course then you should consider enrolling on a Marine Radio Short Range Certificate course.
