Private Skippered Charter

With skippered charter you get the best of both worlds. You have the flexibility to go where you want and at the same time you have an experienced skipper in the wings to ensure your day or holiday goes smoothly. With France, Belgium and Holland all reachable in daylight hours, there is a real treat in store for you when holidaying with us.

If you want to learn to sail during your charter, our experienced RYA instructors are on hand to show you the ropes.

The prices below are for the yacht and up to 8 people (7 overnight) including the skipper. A 10% booking deposit is required to reserve the boat. Half the remaining charter fee is due within the next 2 weeks to secure the booking. The balance must be paid within 8 weeks of the charter start date. Dates can be changed up to 8 weeks prior to commencement of your charter, subject to availability (charges may apply).

What's included

Skipper. Safety equipment, wet weather gear, including personal harnesses and adult life jackets. Talk to us about life jackets for children.

Restrictions

The maximum weight is 18 stone. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. No smoking below decks

Number on board

The yacht is suitably equipped for 7 guests by day or 6 guests to sleep onboard.

What to wear

It can get cold out on the water so several layers of clothing are best rather than fewer thick layers. Non-marking soft soled shoes (training shoes or deck shoes).

What to bring

Sleeping bag and pillow case if you are staying overnight. Sun block, sun glasses, camera, G15 log book if you have one. If appropriate, Passports (and Visa if necessary) EU Health Insurance card.

Other things you should know

You are responsible for all berthing fees and/or Harbour dues that you may incur during the charter. You will need to provision the boat with your own food including provisions for your skipper (we can do this for you at cost). The yacht will begin its charter with full tanks of diesel fuel and water, and sufficient cooking gas for your trip. We ask that you refill her with diesel on return. Sailing requires a degree of physical exertion so if you have any doubts concerning your fitness please make us aware. Please consult your pharmacist or doctor if you require seasickness medication.
