Anglia Sea Ventures

Anglia Sea Ventures are an RYA Training Centre based in Central Ipswich. In a very short time we have become established as a significant provider of RYA courses in the area. Now planning our sixth season, we are building on that early success and are expanding our instructional staff.

Our boats are immaculately presented and a key differentiator for our business. Our instructors are therefore expected to look after the boats as if they are their own.

Customer satisfaction is a very high priority so as well as being suitably qualified and experienced, you will need to be customer focused, highly motivated and have excellent interpersonal skills.

We operate a strict non-smoking policy aboard our boats and our customers tell us it is a reason for booking with us. This applies to instructors as well as crew.

RYA Cruiser Instructor

We currently have a vacancy for a freelance Cruiser Instructor to run weekend RYA sail cruising courses from our base at the Haven Marina Ipswich. You will preferably be local to Ipswich (Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire) and will have taken both your Yachtmaster certificate of competence and your Cruiser instructor in UK tidal waters. You will have sailed for at least 5 years and probably own your own boat. You need not have taught any courses up to this point as we will train you to run courses the Anglia Sea Ventures way.
